Event: Open Player Tryout Time: 10:00 AM Description: The San Angelo Colts are hosting an open player tryout for the 2008 season at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3 at Foster Field. The fee to participate is $25 and all players must be 18 years of age or older. All players must register, begining at 8:00 a.m. that morning.

Event: Meet the Colts at Sunset Mall Time: 2:00 PM Description: Come by the Sunset Mall from 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 to meet the Colts. Manager Doc Edwards, his coaches, and all the players for the 2008 season will be present and available to sign free autographs.

Event: $1 Beer Night Time: 7:05 PM Description: Miller Lite and Foster Commnications sponsor the first "Thirsty Thursday" of the season when beer is just $1 starting when the gates open at 6:05 p.m.

Event: Guns 'N' Hoses Game/Fireworks Show Time: 4:00 PM Description: NY Special sponsors the annual Guns 'n' Hoses Game between the San Angelo Police Department and the San Angelo Fire Department. And following that night's game between the Colts and the Alexandria Aces, fans will be treated to the second Fireworks Show of the year.
