 February 25, 2010 - San Angelo, Texas----The Colts signed four players including a pair of players named Ty. First in the battery of pitcher Tyler Blum and catcher Tyler Goodro. They also signed a pair of pitchers in right-hander Efrain Silva and left-hander Justin Phillips.
Southpaw Tyler Blum, a two sport star from the University of Iowa, is no stranger to Texas having played in San Antonio for college football’s Army All-American Bowl. Catcher Tyler Goodro is out of the University of Cincinnati. Both players will be looking to making their professional debuts.
Lefty Justin Phillips is a native Texan from Waco who spent time in the Royals organization, and last season played in the Northern League with Fargo. Efrain Silva a west coast guy from California pitched for Cosumus River (CA) Junior College and spent time in the Dodgers organization.
